Growth

Like a plant I am potted, my soil is the Earth,

my nutrients are my experience and I grow from the lessons that I learn.

Like a plant sometimes I’m in need of more,

so when I am watered, I stretch and lift from the Earth that snuggles me.

I depend on love and light to keep me strong, so when I’m weak and the weight of my world gets me down…

I have love that brings the light and I am renewed once again.

This is growth,

For every inch that I stretch,

I know that I live,

I know that my life goes own,

I know that I have purpose.
