How to keep moving forward despite the roadblocks?

Define success. Have 110% clarity in what ‘success’ means to you. It is extremely easy to mistake an irrelevant loss as failure. If you have clarity about your success, you will learn to make peace with loosing a few (likely irrelevant) milestones in the greater pursuit of achieving your goal. Compromise is not a sign of weakness. If conceding somewhere allows for your pursuit of moving forward, it is worth it. You don’t always have to fight everything that comes your way. Ignore some. Sideline some. Delegate some. And if you have to or are asked to fight some, have comfort in knowing — “winning this battle is not really worth much”. Hence, losing it shouldn’t hurt as such.

This is by far the best recipe to waste time. Skip the middle management’s approval. Start with the end “implementer”. Convince her/him/them to see value in your vision and try to get blessings from the top management. That’s all you will truly need.
