The format of the program was simple enough. First, we had Brian sitting in his living room chatting about what had been on the show last week, some of the cool things he’d found looking for clips for this week’s show and interesting anecdotes about girl groups, a passion of his. For the first half of the show, he had great clips of Dusty Springfield, The Shirelles, The Crystals, Shangri-Las, The Chiffons, the Dixie Cups, and the Ronettes as well as tons of classic Motown that included The Marvelettes, Martha and the Vandellas and The Supremes and many, many more.

The second fifteen minutes of Media Surf was vintage 70s and 80s gay porn that Brian had carefully edited to stay on the good side of the guys with the scissors at MNN. And it was glorious! All those sideburns! All that pubic hair! All those garages and locker rooms!
